These are the songs that we sing...

We have got no dough at all
Got a jar full of pennies
That dont amount to any
Thing thing thing

These are the melodies
With simple harmonies we sing
We sing of the hardship life brings
It brings it brings it brings it brings

These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
We sing
These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
To make the day better

And we have got no home at all
Travel like the gypsies living off of any
Thing thing thing

These are the melodies
With simple harmonies we sing
We sing of the hardship life brings
It brings it brings it brings it brings

These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
We sing
These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
To make the day better

We sing we sing we sing we sing

These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
We sing
These are the songs that we sing
We sing
These are the songs that I sing
To make the day better

Me and the sky...

The Asheboro sky and I have become quite happy friends. I have fallen in love with gloomy skies, big broad oaks and bare limbs. The season is changing and slowly my mind is changing too. I have fallen in love with film, and my love for black and whites has grown even stronger, but now I am having to transform my mind back to digital little bits at a time. Two of my classes have made the switch to digital  already and my others are making the switch to color film, why more complicatedness?
I am realizing a new creative streak I am longing to grow and cant wait till it becomes so strong I cant hide it under the technicalities any longer.
One more week till spring break, oh the pictures that will be taken!
This post tonight is so late due to me, myself, and I waiting this storm out. Hope your palm Sunday was a reminder.

March 25, 2010 after a long day and playing like a cave child...

B.B. (Baby Bull) is growin! He is so cute and I love to drive in the driveway and see his sweet little face look up at me! : )
I love living on a farm... i grew up in the woods, but all the old stuff on a farm is so exciting to photograph and every time I want to photograph something, I see something new outside that I want to capture. Oh how I love it!
It also tickles my buttons when I get letters or postcards from WCA that are entitled... ALUMNI. Hahahaha it really does just tickle me     ;-)
By the way I found TWO 4 leaf clovers today while sitting right smack dab in the middle of my favorite clover patch in the grass. Yaay!

Rollin Around IN An Elephant BOX...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oU3vdnfqIek
This is the song from Chuck's Goodwill mixed tape that we listened to the other day in design lab while we each had 2 minutes to compose our composition in front of the whole class. It was really exciting! Anyway this is the song and the music video that he found the other day after we listened to it for hours. Maybe it will make you chuckle!?! It made us laugh to actually be able to picture the way the "artist envisioned it" it kind of ruined it... haha

First day...

This picture reminds me of the night that the Cullen's went out to play baseball just before the storm...I love these gloomy dark skies, there is something so beautiful about them. :-)

Wonderful birthday weekend...

All this crazy silliness happened on Friday...we first made three GF pizzas and pigged out on them, then we danced to "The Cupid Shuffle"  in my tiny little house about 70-gazillion times, then watched Twilight and all got droopy eyed, then we all got ready for bed and crawled in to our covers and Dee says "well if we had that next movie I would stay up and watch it." so the light comes on Amy, Aunt Dianne and I jump out of bed pull on some clothes and hop in the car to go to Walmart at 1:30 in the morning. We got back and the last picture is all of us ready to start round two of the Twilight saga and stay up till 4:30 AM!!!!
Then Saturday morning we got up and ate waffles and then played Sing Star till we were ready to go out for a full day of shopping and galavanting around Aboro and Gboro. When we got back I turned into Geraldine, Dee took a relaxing sprawl on the bed, Mom and Aunt Dianne started dinner, and Amy and I became very silly. When dinner was ready we all headed outside in the wonderful Spring air and dug into our steak dinner (one of my favorites) and then... Kentie brought out the long long long awaited Chocolate Ganache cake and Nelson lit the candles! Pictures Pictures Pictures and then it was time for a wish and gust of wind! The cake was WonDErful (see how beautiful it is)...and there is still more to eat later :-) After the clean up all the girls came inside and made me do a "fashion show" of my new things and then they became Clinton and Stacy and helped me figure out how to put some stuff I already owned together into "cuteness" lol!
Then last but not least this morning we got up and ate breakfast casserole (one of my favorites) and got ready for church. Amy and Aunt Dianne had to leave for VA when Dee, Mom and I left for church so we said some goodbyes and headed to church for Sunday school and took along a GF apple pie for birthday treats for everyone. After church we headed out on some unknown adventure, I got my first piece of Seagrove pottery, and we finally ended up finding the covered bridge we were looking for after miles and miles of NOTHING over the next hill hahaha! When we got out we took a few pictures and I learned that my grandmother DOES indeed have some photography skills...I love this picture she took of me and my mom  (the last one) :-)
They left around 6:30 and now I am once again home alone, officially 19, and hoping that I can have some company for Chocolate Ganache cake a little later.
What a GREAT weekend!
