Yesterday's post that never happened...

Yes of course I went out and took pictures yesterday, yes of course I ran out of time to upload them, yes of course I almost gave myself a concussion doing so, why yes of course!

The lighting in my little house is so perfect at certain times of the day and I LOVE it and have to use it.     ONe and TwO are self portraits of sorts.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures even though they are a day late, and you didn't get to try any of my "amazing"carrot cake. However, Kentie did come down and join me for a piece or two in the warmth of the oven air and remarked that it was quite tasty! Yippee!

January 12th Second day back...

Well, I survived another day!
To my utter surprise this second day, like the first, wasn't all that bad either. Im pretty sure that there are a very few people who think that I am mean and that they better stay out of my way...but for the most part I feel certain that things are about the same and getting ready to be like "juggling meat cleavers" as one of our encouraging teachers commented.
GREAT.
Well tomorrow I only have a few classes and am wanting to take some of "my pictures" tomorrow after I get out...Ill keep you posted on that one. LOL
Im off to sit by the fire and drink some hot tea before bed...Ciao my loves.

January 11th, 1st day back...

Yes....yes I survived my first day back to school.
How?
I don't know but I did leave tonight at 9 feeling quite good about my favorite class so far, theatre appreciation.
I LOVED IT!!!!
We have already read a complete play and it's just the first day! We read The Zoo Story....great!

Last 2...

Last 2 minutes of January 7, 2010...just ordered a ton of pics that have been waiting and waiting to be printed out, touched and loved. I got 20 free prints and 50 prints for $.50! Yay I am so excited about going out to my little mailbox and opening my long awaited prints package! I'll let ya'll know when they get there! Goodbye January 7 HELLO January 8!

VA snow...

The 6'8" snowman that we built at Aunt Dianne and Uncle Frank's house this weekend... we had about 14 inches by the end of the week!

December 8th...

Sitting, Waiting, Wishing...

So the forecast is calling for snow tonight in Aboro... but nothing is happening apart from the extreme drop in temperature.
Blugggggg, I really want some snow!
Just like we need something else to throw into the mix of the next week at school. I will be busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest!
First thing that happened at school this week was the discovery of a bust in the water main to the AE building which houses ALL the photography department stuff (meaning NO processing for the last two projects due by this coming Friday).
Then yesterday there was a gas leak.

Proud Snuggie Owner...

Today I got up early enough to get everything done that I needed to, including making my healthy lunch to take to school. When it was time to go I jumped in the car and started driving to school only to realize over half way there that I had left my lunch at home on the kitchen sink. Since I had left lunch at home I drove back home between classes to pick up my lunch and guess what? While I was putting my stuff back in the car, Kentie comes down the driveway with this box. She is trying to hide it from me and has  this really cheesy grin on her face.... tada she pulls out my brand-spankin-new Snuggie! "Happy Halloween!" she says while laughing at my reaction. What an awesome surprise!

I especially love how there is a huge "Snuggie" label smacked right on the right sleeve... like someone wouldn't know it was a Snuggie! ha

2009 NC STATE FAIR...

This year Mom and I went to see the little pigs race around the track to get themselves some "Cheese puffs"....It was so much fun!
We were not planning on staying till the fireworks, but it just kind of happened.
After several hours of wondering around to find the coolest things to photograph, tradition dictates that Katie gets a frozen banana covered in chocolate and sprinkles and enjoys it all the way to the car.
This is precisely what happened!
