Mountains...

One of my very favorite places to be is in the mountains. Everything is good there... the air, the views, the food, the people. During the summer I am up there with my grandparents more than I'm at home. Sadly, this summer I wasn't there quite as much as I would have liked to have been. Some of these pictures are from two summers ago when my friend Megan went with me for several days. We enjoyed listening to good ol' mountain music, eatin real good, and kayakin in the river. This first picture is of a mountain top sunset.... beautiful isn't it? My momma and I always say that sunsets are the brush strokes of God.This next picture is of Megan and I in a patch of mountain wildflowers (my favorite).

I'm going to post again in about five seconds.. so Ciao, KT :)

Results...

The results from our poll are no longer posted...sorry. The winner of the "People we love to hate" poll was....... Obama!!!!!!!!! The weather forecast for tomorrow is calling for rain, thank goodness. Stats show that less democrats go out and vote on a rainy election day! I sure wish I could vote!!!
Ciao, KT :)

Will I get in TROUBLE???

I'm writing this at school, so hopefully I won't get in trouble for being on my blog. I've been on here at school before, so I think I'm OK!
Today was a very lazy day. I give partial credit to the time change, the other half to my laziness.

I was very excited to find that someone very special had left me a chocolate treat,it was on my desk this afternoon when I went to teachers aid. (Thank you "B") I ate it at approximately 3:15! We had play practice after school and Mr. D said that he liked the way I did my part (Meryl the Minstrel), which is a GOOD thing.

Thank yall for praying for Mr. Williams. He didn't get to come home Sunday, but they are hoping for Tuesday... so please keep praying!

Oh! If yall want to buy fruit, let me know! There will be pictures later.

Ciao, KT :)

Wow! I can't believe this...

Yall just can not possibly understand how awful I am at making electronic things, like computers understand me. Despite all the doubts in my mind, I got this picture uploaded on the same computer I was using for my last post not very long ago. (yall can look at the time and see how long it took me.. just don't tell me. Ok?Ok!)

Well, this is the picture of the back of the Statue of Liberty. I hope it shows up better on your computer screen than it is on mine. The real picture looks awesome, but for some reason on the screen it looks soooooo dark. What in the world??????? Anyway I hope you can see it better and that you like it. Interesting perspective don't you think?

There is another teacher at school that you've probably heard me talk about at some time or another. Her husband Mr. Williams had surgery last week, and is recovering at Duke hospital hoping to be able to come home on Sunday. Prayer is such a powerful thing, so if yall would please remember them in your prayers that would be awesome.

See yall, KT :)

End of Homecoming week...

Whats happenin??? This week was super fun at school and I'm going to post some pictures of whats been going on! To start off with I'm posting pics from yesterday after school while we ( Zac, AJ, David, and Me ) worked on our amazing poster for the senior section of pep rally. I must say ours was the best even though we didn't win the poster competition. On the other hand the guys won volleyball, the class chant won, and we were the loudest at the pep rally. Here are some pics of our fun times together!

The "I'm gonna spray you in the face with this stuff" look.

This is the "G TEAM" after the poster was complete. We were making our gangsta W's in honor of our main homie... B Willi, who couldn't be at homecoming today. (you were missed, and thanks for the poster idea!)
I'll be posting more when I can get on the other computer, I promised a new reader that I would post a pretty cool pic from NY.
Ciao, KT :)

Decade Day...

Homecoming week means lots of creativity juice has to be flowing. Thank goodness I have my mamma mia on my side!!!! Today (Wednessday) was decade day and the seniors were the 70's. Oh boy what fun! I was very surprised to find that dressing for this decade was not as hard as I thought it would be, especially since several people said that I looked like I would wear that any day. Well, you can decide for yourself in the pics. The other girl is my cousin Courtney who is a freshman, and they were the 80's. Don't we look cute? We were being fussed at because we were arguing and being aggrivating to each other...I think we pulled it together just long enough to take the picture!
This is one of the good ones...

Sisters at heart :)

Today was super fun and there were lots of laughs as people came in the doors. I also got to take pictures for the yearbook, and captured some pretty awesome shots. In one picture I caught a girl trying to do a jump on her friends skateboard, and right before she hit the pavement I caught the shot. There was a pretty cool picture of McLean L. in mid air before his skateboard hit the ground too. Maybe I should get into action photography too???

Here are some shots I love from the other day when I was bored... glamour shots???

Just kidding, ha ha ha! These are the real ones.

I love photography because it gives other people the chance to...

See things through your eyes. Go ahead, look through!

Ciao, KT :)

Excitement

Thank you, thank you, thank you to my one and only blog follower!!!!! You can't even imagine the excitement I had when I saw Amy's little picture pop up on my page. I'll post some pics later.
Bye, KT :)

Hello blog readers...it's been a loooooooong time!

This is a picture of the WCA 2008 NCCSA State Champions!

This one was taken by the dugout trusty photographer (me). We all had matching helments this past year... pretty cool right?
Ok, i know this is wierd, but i have this crazy obsession with feet pictures. The only reason i can think of, is because a lot of times people show their personality through their feet. Crazy i know, but it's a cool picture isn't it?see ya, KT :)

Palin Rules

If you watched the Republican national convention last night then you know what I mean! This woman is awesome!! I took some super cute pics of my little cousins the other day when the whole family went to Chick- Fil- A (yum...), but they are on my phone (and we all know the lack of technology in that department) so I can't show them to you cause I can't get them off. Too bad cause they were those kind of pictures that were not really planned but turned out so adorable. Kind of like they were just meant to be, sometimes those are my favorites!!! I'm giving you all this talk up about the pictures and you can't even see them... sorry! Anywho, I went to visit Mrs. Rhodes today after school and she looks awesome (and I LOVE her sweet hair). Please continue to pray for her quick healing and that she doesn't go stir crazy not being able to be at school with us :) Thank you to my one or two blog readers, Love ya, KT :)
P.S. Sorry for not having any pics, this computer has none of my art :)

It's Been A While My Friends

First of all I would like to ask all my blog readers to be praying for one of my very special teachers Mrs. Rhodes, she had pretty extensive surgery on wednesday of this week. Thankfully she is doing well so just be praying for a quick and speedy recovery. I posted a pic of the two of us from last year so you can put a face with the name. Neither of us really look like this any more, but that's ok. (aren't we cute???)

Here is a really cool pic of a flower I took in the mountains, tell me what you think!

I have some really funny pics from the other day at school that I will post after I download them, in the mean time, just keep Mrs. Rhodes in you're prayers! Thanks! KT :)

Mamma Mia!

I am so excited!!!!! I got the Mamma Mia soundtrack today and it is amazing!!! My Mamma, Mrs. Rhodes and I all went to go see the movie before school started back and it was the best ever!!! How many of yall knew Meryl Streep could sing like that??? I took a picture of a billboard for the movie when I was in NY, but it somehow didn't get downloaded so here is a silly picture of me when we went to the Statue of Liberty. Anywho, can't wait to get those like dance moves nailed with ya girlfriend, cause that's gonna be funny right there I don't care who you are! (you know who you are "Dancing Queen":) Love ya, KT :)

P.S. I threw in this picture of my feet in Central Park just cause I thought it was pretty stinkin' funny too. (you can tell it's me for sure by the nasty broken leg bruise)

Black and Whites

My favorite pictures are black and whites. There is just something about them that makes them so special. Last year one of my teachers at school gave us an extra credit opportunity if we made a project memoirs. My idea was to do the project on my two grandmothers. I had so much fun looking through all their old pictures and deciding which ones to use. The best part was they were all black and white! This picture was taken of my grandparents at a museum in VA. I'll post more later, KT :)
P.S. Thanks to those who took the poll!

Cast Your Vote

I am finally figuring out what I can do in the blogger world, and I created a poll. I just made it while watching the olympics. Aren't they AWESOME?
See ya, KT :)

New York City

I got to go to New York this summer and had a chance to take some really awsome pictures! We went all over everywhere from Ground Zero to The Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I have never felt as completely lost in a store as I did in Macy's (the largest department store in the world). WOW! Check these out and see what you think. Don't forget to leave a coment!!!
Chill, KT :)

This was taken on Ellis Island in the museum.
Part of "The Mall" in Central Park
See The Statue of Liberty off in the distance?
The city that NEVER sleeps! This time of the day was awsome!!!

My beginning :)

I am new to the blogging world, but here I go. My former teacher is doing this right now, and there is a generation gap. She does not know the cool lingo. Forgive her. I'll come up with more cool things later. :)
