"Refreshing"...

Saturday's "word" was refreshing, so I thought about what is always refreshing in the summer. Cool drinks! The first picture is a mason jar of water, and the second one is a row of some of the empty glass bottles that I collect. When I look at them I see refreshing! Both of these were taken on Saturday...just in case you were wondering. lol

Work...

Alright, this may be considered a cheat...but after I saw what "The Fowler" had done with hers, I thought back to a trip with Granny and Papa and some pictures I had taken with my old camera. I think that with a little more of my creative juices flowing I can make a comeback with this "word" of the day picture thing. Thank you for giving me a challenge Fowler.

hee hee...you want me to do what?...

Today was great fun with "The Fowler", we went picture takin and laughed a lot...(most of the laughing was directed at me I might add). lol
I must say it was quite challenging to see things differently (especially in a root ball), but... I went, I listened, I learned, and I did.
It is COOL to picture things in a different way .

I'm going to challenge myself to take pictures each day of "the descriptive word of the day". This sounds silly... but it will give me a chance to use the new skills I learned, and a reason to blog a little more regularly. "The descriptive word of the day" tomorrow is going to be "work". OK, it's not a really big word, but it will be a "work"ing progress. lol
I know there will be one person who will hold me to this so...now I'm doomed if I don't do it!

Everybody meet Canon....

On Saturday I added a new member to the "Mac Family Zoo"...an orange and white tabby named Canon (like the camera).

Monday afternoon we had some quality bonding time together while we were home alone...this quality time involved playing in the bathroom sink!

Not even looking through the viewfinder at my curious subject...I started snapping pictures. I randomly do this haphazardous shooting just to see what I get, and this time it was hilarious! Most of the pictures are a little fuzzy due to me not focusing on my subject, but they all run in a sequence as you can tell...which makes them 10 times funnier.

He is a little luv bug, and loves to follow me around the house right on my heels like a puppy! As you have just seen, running water is his favorite curiosity right now...

Super Hero Name...

A very long time ago I asked everyone the question:
"If you were a superhero, what would your name be?"
Several of you responded and then asked what mine would be, I was reluctant to answer cause I couldn't come up with anything very good. Someone solved that problem for me and gave me the best superhero name...."Golden Eye".
I bring this up again mainly cause I am going off to college to study photography, and thought that a cool nickname like this would be awesome, so I wanted to let you all know!

Tattooed....

Yes it is real...and mama and daddy know!

It didn't really hurt, it just felt kind of like a scratch...over and over again!

My tattoo guy was Rob and his shirt was perfect for today. I didn't notice the shirt till we were leaving, but how ironic right!?!

It's on my wrist, and it's one of my favorite words of inspiration...Believe.

I had the cross put beside it to show what my ultimate belief is in...Jesus, my Lord and Saviour.

I know that some people don't really like tattoos, but they are an amazing art form that God has gifted people with, they are an awesome way to tell your testimony and about yourself!

It might be hard for some of you to believe that I would actually do this..."but it does say Believe" as my friend Aj's mom affectionately said.

Can't wait to show you in person so you can see it doesn't smudge! (Miss Toni) lol

Mi Vida Loca...

So its good to see the blogging world again. It has been quite some time since I have given any real pictures for anyone to look at...sorry.
The title of this post pretty much says it all. "My crazy life", yes life has been crazy lately but school is finally OVER! Praise the Lord, it has been a LONG time coming!
I leave for NYC on Saturday at 7 something in the morning (have to be there at 5:10), and come back on the 21st, then that Saturday my aunt and uncle are throwing me a graduation brunch at their house, then baca-who-who (however you spell that word) is on Sunday, then the Thursday after that is GRADUATION! (Also a very LONG time coming.)
So see... throw in school work, sickness, trips to six forks road every couple days, family stuff, school, school, school, and sleep, and I have been very busy! Very little time to take lots of pictures, but somehow I have managed to get some good ones. I thought I had uploaded more pics than are on here, (and I did) but they somehow are gone into cyberspace.
Enjoy the ones that are up though and some graduation and NY ones will be up soon...cant promise how soon, but probably after May 21.
Keep going strong cause May is no time for slackers! (trust me I know)

Last Day Being 17....

Today was super rockin awesome!
I had a great Friday at school (thank goodness it is Friday...), and I got my first Birthday present (love it, and the scarf in the pictures was part of it.), then I came home and had 3 birthday cards in the mailbox (getting cards is my favorite!).
So then after all this I was thinking about how I love to pretend to be a rock star, and then I thought... Go outside and take some pictures of yourself pretending to be a cool kid, the day before you turn 18! So that's exactly what I did!
Here they are...

I especially l0ve the last two, although the top one is a frequent look on my face... I am told that I say A LOT with my facial expressions!

Hey Hey Hey....

Thank you sooooo much to the blog reader who tried to post a comment and desperately failed. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. It has inspired me to be a little bit better about my posting since someone does look at it every once in a while.

So... I'm in this self expression mode lately and I really like what I've been coming up with. I even have a request to do a picture for someone else in one of my favorite styles. Hooray! Can't wait cause it's gonna be tripindicular! Anyway, crazy awesome hair that I can't figure out but love and all.... Me.

USA...

Have any of you (my two readers) seen the USA commercials for the "Character Projects"? If not you need to go to - (characterprojects.usanetwork.com) it is AWESOME! To see the world through someone else's eyes is such a cool thing to be able to do! God gave some people the ability to see things in such interesting ways... sometimes ways we may have never even thought about. Check it out!

Finally some snow..... we have been out of school for two days now! Hooray!!!!!
